From Foz do Iguaçu it's only a 30 minutes bus ride to the Paraguayan border. To cross the border you just walk over the Ponte da amizagem - Friendship bridge. Once on the other side you are in the cheap shopping paradise for Brazilians. I met a woman in the night bus who drove 11 hours to get here and was going to drive back 11 hours in the next night back just to go shopping here. That shows how much cheaper especially electronics are here.
