Pinhão is a type of nut I tried today for the first time. You can cook it water or bake it in the oven. After that comes the difficult part to peal them out of there shells. They are a bit like sweet chestnuts (Esskastanien) but the taste is a bit like potato as well. They grow on high pine trees.
